Competition #2: The Winds of Change

Slightly later than expected, here is the latest competition.

The Marine headquarters has been attacked by an unnamed group of pirates and has sent the world into turmoil. Marine HQ has reported no casualties from the upper-echelon of the Marine rankings. Most of the pirates that attacked have been captured or killed. A few remain scattered across the world hiding out, gathering forces or trying to stave off infection from their various injuries.

The World Government has issued a public safety warning, informing all residence to be vigilant of all pirate ships that are seen in the area and appealing that anyone who finds an injured pirate, to report them immediately to their local Marine base.

Your mission should you chose to accept it, (for a possible 2k TD and a goodie, who wouldn't??) will be to write a chapter with your characters reaction to this, maybe your character stumbled across a pirate. Maybe with all the marines distracted you start your own riot? The possibilities are endless!
