Personality: Morrigan is an individual with an incredibly steadfast view on honour and morality. Even as the son of a pirate, he has developed his own ideas upon what being a pirate truly means, and to him, it means honour, courage and adventure. Unfortunately, he has also inherited the hot-headed ways of his mother, and finds it difficult to deny a challenge, even if it's against somebody twice his size. As he was trained in the way of the sword from a young age, the three swords he keeps at his side are his heart, soul and mind. Woe betide any unfortunate individual that attempts to mar them with their fingerprints, or who chooses to interrupt his training regime or meditation. He is somewhat of a masochist, always driving himself to be stronger and faster, even if that means he damages his body in the process.

Despite the harshness of his training or his short fuse, Morrigan is an incredibly laid back individual who has employed the philosophy 'if you're gonna do it, do it right.' He enjoys sake more than an individual of his age should, and has been known to drink in copious amounts should the opportunity arise. He is more likely to offer a handshake to a stranger than the tip of his blades. That being said, he does not unsheathe them lightly, and believes that once a sword is drawn it must in turn draw blood before it is sheathed away again. With this philosophy in mind, he has trained himself to regard his blades with the utmost seriousness, and never with an ounce of doubt or regret. His three swords belonged to his mother, and as such, they are his treasure.

Morrigan is a rather promiscuous individual; where he spends his days training and bettering himself, he spends every available night docked at lively party islands and seemingly never wakes up with a hangover. He does however detest partying twice at the same place, though whether this is because he wishes to never have two alike nights or whether it's because he's worried about accidentally running into past flings is highly debatable. Needless to say, his reputation is mixed; where some people know him as being a devoted and ambitious practitioner of the way of the sword, others know him as being... substantially less noble.

Not caring much for his past or his future, Morrigan gives his all and lives purely for the moment and as such is a fiery, passionate yet dependable individual. He also has a massive sweet tooth and adores spicy food.

He sleeps and eats very little since he was held and tortured by Jaxxon D. Marko, whom he has developed a slightly unhealthy obsession over; whether Jaxxon did more damage than anybody realised or whether this is a product of his dramatic devil-may-care personality is to be debated.

Morrigan is also very whimsical, not just as a pirate but as a person. Where one fight results in the deaths of many Marines, another may end with not a single fatality. His mood is as ever-changing as the wind, and one may find it incredibly difficult to predict Morrigan's mood with the changing of the tides. Like his obsession with his enemy, the origin of this trait is debatable. Perhaps he inherited the slightly maddened ways of his mother, or perhaps it is simply a part of who he is. One thing is certain; a smile could turn to a sneer in the blink of an eye.

Morrigan loves making people feel uncomfortable whenever and wherever possible, and has no concept of personal space. If he meets somebody he deems to be interesting, he will usually be persistent in finding out what makes them so interesting and why that person is like they are. If he cannot ally himself with such people, he will irritate them, simply because he finds them to be fascinating. In his opinion, the stranger or more unusual somebody is, the better.


Appearance: Morrigan stands roughly at 5'8 and appears to be a little on the scrawny side, despite his intense training. His hair is dark green to an extent it appears to be black in most lights, and is long enough to be tied into a ponytail which is kept back by a black band. Two small sections of hair near his ears are kept down, and these are bright white in colour. His eyes contrast sharply with the colour of his hair; instead of being dark, they are a shocking shade of emerald green, with pupils that are often considered to be too small for his irises.

He wears loose, low-hanging black pants that are of an unremarkable design and a loose black shirt which is always worn open, when he does choose to wear it. His chest is bare and has no distinguishing marks, other than a Marines logo tattoo which is located on his navel below his bellybutton as a glorified 'fuck you' to those who hunt him. His tattoo can clearly be seen and is in no way hidden.

He can occasionally be seen with a heavy chain around his neck with a Demon Blade Pirates pendant; a proud show of his links to piracy, and a private oath to revive them to their former strength.

After being tortured by Jaxxon D. Marko, his back is host to a series of four large 'X' shaped scars that are silvery-greyish in colour.


Biography: 18 years ago, there lived a famous female pirate swordsman by the name of Jannine Rassallion, who was a master of wielding three swords. Such was her skill with three blades that one strike from each would tear enemy ships asunder. Upon entering the Grand Line, her skills as a swordsman and Captain only improved, until she had amassed a small but undoubtedly powerful fleet. She shared the dream of many pirates; One Piece.

She stayed within the Grand Line for a whole year, until suddenly and seemingly without explanation, she retreated from the harshest place known to man and travelled to North Blue with a single ship. Some say the terrors of the Line were too much even for her, where others spoke tales of a terrible man who not only decimated her Flagship, but killed every ranking officer that sailed under her flag. Every rumour couldn't possibly have been further from the truth.

Jannine Rassallion, AKA 'Demon Blade' Rassallion, was pregnant. Upon discovery of this, she abandoned her impossible dreams and took up more reasonable ones; to raise a strong child and be the best possible mother she could. She couldn't ensure her child's safety within the Line, and so retreated to the quieter expanses of North Blue upon giving birth to a healthy baby boy. Her crew, the Demon Blade pirates, accepted their Captain's orders and went their separate ways, some going on to become Captains themselves under new flags, whilst others settled down in the four oceans as civilians. The Demon Blade pirates were officially no more, though this fact was kept secret from the world. To the other pirates of the Grand Line, they simply fell off the radar; another battle-hardened crew consumed by the madness of the Line. A tragic yet common story. None questioned it.

She named her son Morrigan, and as he grew, she began to pass her skills onto him. She contracted an illness that would eventually kill her, and resolved to prepare Morrigan for the Grand Line, as he would surely go after his father upon her passing. As she grew weaker, Morrigan grew stronger. Finally, Jannine could fight the illness no more, and passed away in the arms of her son, who had by then grown into a young man of seventeen years. Her assumption was correct; as a final breath escaped her lips, she told him to follow the dream she had given up, and he was only too glad to oblige. With his mother's santoryu fighting style, he dusted off her old flag, reattached it to his own ship, and officially inherited her title of 'Demon Blades' without fully understanding the trouble it would cause him in the future. Giving little thought to the consequences, he consumed her greatest treasure; a Devil Fruit that had been brought back from the Line as proof of her travels. This turned out to be the Moku Moku no Mi.

Fighting Style: Santoryu. Morrigan wields three katanas. His fighting style consists of precise strikes in between the rapid drawing and sheathing of his three blades, meaning he constantly switches between them during attacking to provide a near-constant barrage of slashes. It is an advanced style that has taken many years of practice to use in its most basic of forms, yet he cannot claim to have even a fraction of the skill his mother once dominated the Grand Line with. As Morrigan consumed the Moku Moku no Mi at the start of his journey as Captain, it hasn't been integrated into his fighting style, and it will take time to properly do so. His three swords are as follows:

Möbius: A straight-bladed katana of average length and weight. The wrappings are silver satin and are neatly braided over black ray-skin. Three pins, all the shape of a figure 8, keep the blade firmly in place. The guard is silver, and shaped like an ouroboros which has been twisted to resemble a Möbius strip. No patterns adorn the guard; it is simple and doesn't reflect light very well. The hamon is forged in a toran style. [Broken]

Cypher: A straight-bladed katana of average length and lighter than average weight. The wrappings are of crimson silk and are neatly braided over white ray-skin. Three pins, all the shape of an hourglass, keep the blade firmly in place. The guard is shaped like two hourglasses overlapping to form a cross. The guard shines a brilliant silver and has several Latin inscriptions that translate roughly to 'Draw not the sword, lest it never be sheathed.' and ' Perseverance of Spirit'. The hamon has been forged into a Gunome Togare style.

Leviathan: A straight-bladed katana of average length and heavier than average weight. The cutting edge is serrated from collar to tip. The wrappings are of black bandages and are roughly braided over red ray-skin. Three pins, all the shape of a snake, keep the blade firmly in place. The guard is shaped like a Celtic cross, however upon closer examination, it is revealed that the cross consists of one long snake. The guard is matte black and doesn't shine at all, even when the sun is high in the sky. The hamon has been forged into a koshi hiraita midare style.

Techniques:

>Technique Name: First Singing Wall [5 Slots] [EQUIPPED]
Description: A simple attack that requires both the knowledge and experience of three-sword combat. The user slashes with the sword wielded in their right hand, then sheaths the sword as they strike with their left. The left sword is then sheathed as the second right sword is drawn and used to create another strike. The combo is then repeated, resulting in a total of five continuous strikes. This ability, when used, creates the illusion of a wall as the constant slicing attacks are able to deflect bullets and counter attacks with relative ease, providing the enemy is of low strength and lower experience than the user. As the five strikes slash through the air, the blades vibrate and 'sing', thus giving birth to the techniques name. Must be equipped to use '2nd singing wall, 'Final Singing Wall' and 'Apex Singing Wall'.

Description: A variation of 'Splitting Hammer'. A sword technique that involves the user propelling themselves into the air, then coming down upon an opponent with the edge of a single blade.

>Technique Name: Killing Field [8 Slots] [EQUIPPED]
Description: A technique requiring the utilisation of three swords. The user draws two of their swords, closes his or her eyes and enters a semi-meditative state, thus sacrificing the ability to see for inner concentration. The hit-radius of this technique is roughly 5 metres, with the user being at the centre at the start of the technique. Once the user has reached his or her inner meditation circle (their own inner focus), they may dash anywhere within the circle, as long as it is in a straight line, meaning they may dash from the centre to the edge of their hit-radius. Upon imminent contact with an enemy, they slash with the sword they wield in their right hand, then they slash with the sword they wield in their left, but as their left connects, they sheath their right sword and draw their second right sword and slash at the same time as their left strikes. The result is an illusion; the enemy feels as though they have been cut twice, but in reality, they have been cut three times, with the two last cuts effectively cutting them in half, almost as though they were cut with a pair of scissors. It is enough to kill instantly, should the enemy be inexperienced or unprepared. To use this technique, players must fulfil the following criteria:

- Wield three swords (or more)
- Have at least 500 in their Swordsmanship Skill
- Have at least 500 in their Raw Speed Skill
- Be taught this technique by a current user of the technique (may be an NPC).

Approximate Strength: (7/10) The speed and power of this technique, as well as the skill required to attack with the correct timing, means this technique is fairly difficult to perform and is thus given an approximate strength rating of 7/10.

Logia-type Devil Fruit: Moku Moku no Mi

Fruit Name: Smoke Smoke Fruit [Moku Moku no Mi], ('Moku' being an anagram of 'Kumo', which translates to 'cloud'.)
Fruit Type: Logia
Description: The Moku Moku no Mi allows the user complete and utter control over smoke, allowing them to summon smoke and change parts/all of their body into smoke as is the trademark of most Logia types. It is a very diverse fruit, as it allows for:

> Fast movement through propelling ones body forwards using a billowing smoke column.
> Fast transit of the user's body; the user can vanish into smoke, then reappear elsewhere where there is smoke, so long as it is smoke they have created.
> The detention of others (by changing the density of the smoke used, trapping them.)
> Flight, by the user changing their bottom half into smoke and propelling themselves upwards.
> The ability to block the vision of those around the user.
> Immunity to physical attacks that don't use Haki, so long as the user isn't surprised by said attack. (All Logia types possess this trait).
> The ability to power machinery, using smoke as the medium for kinetic energy.

At first, the Moku Moku no Mi appears to be more of a support-type Logia Fruit, with little offensive capabilities. This is a misconception, as the user has total control over smoke, which, when breathed in can cause complete and total chaos as the user still controls the smoke they have inhaled. It would only take the alteration of the amount of smoke that person inhaled, or the density of said smoke, to kill whoever inhaled it; all need to breathe.

The Moku Moku ni Mi has but one weakness, beyond the Sea and Seastone. Large gusts of wind disrupt the use of the Moku Moku no Mi, making it difficult to control during storms, or against enemies with wind-based Fruits.

Approximate Strength (9/10): The sheer diversity the Moku Moku no Mi provides is enough to class it within the strongest possible types of Devil Fruit. As it isn't inherently an offence or defence type Fruit, the user gains the best of both worlds whilst maintaining the ability to use it outside of combat. It has the potential to kill many people, all at once, before they even notice anything is out of the ordinary; therein lies its true strength. Just because it can be used to kill doesn't mean the user will.
