Moku Moku no Mi - Morrigan Rassallion - Leviathan

'I wanted to breathe smoke... I felt like destroying something beautiful.'

Fruit Name: Smoke Smoke Fruit [Moku Moku no Mi], ('Moku' being an anagram of 'Kumo', which translates to 'cloud'.)
Fruit Type: Logia
Description: The Moku Moku no Mi allows the user complete and utter control over smoke, allowing them to summon smoke and change parts/all of their body into smoke as is the trademark of most Logia types. It is a very diverse fruit, as it allows for:

> Fast movement through propelling ones body forwards using a billowing smoke column.
> Fast transit of the user's body; the user can vanish into smoke, then reappear elsewhere where there is smoke, so long as it is smoke they have created.
> The detention of others (by changing the density of the smoke used, trapping them.)
> Flight, by the user changing their bottom half into smoke and propelling themselves upwards.
> The ability to block the vision of those around the user.
> Immunity to physical attacks that don't use Haki, so long as the user isn't surprised by said attack. (All Logia types possess this trait).
> The ability to power machinery, using smoke as the medium for kinetic energy.

At first, the Moku Moku no Mi appears to be more of a support-type Logia Fruit, with little offensive capabilities. This is a misconception, as the user has total control over smoke, which, when breathed in can cause complete and total chaos as the user still controls the smoke they have inhaled. It would only take the alteration of the amount of smoke that person inhaled, or the density of said smoke, to kill whoever inhaled it; all need to breathe.

The Moku Moku ni Mi has but one weakness, beyond the Sea and Seastone. Large gusts of wind disrupt the use of the Moku Moku no Mi, making it difficult to control during storms, or against enemies with wind-based Fruits.

Approximate Strength (9/10): The sheer diversity the Moku Moku no Mi provides is enough to class it within the strongest possible types of Devil Fruit. As it isn't inherently an offence or defence type Fruit, the user gains the best of both worlds whilst maintaining the ability to use it outside of combat. It has the potential to kill many people, all at once, before they even notice anything is out of the ordinary; therein lies its true strength. Just because it can be used to kill doesn't mean the user will.

Evolution of Control:

0-999 Fruit Synch: The user is unable to stop himself from sporadically turning into smoke whenever weakened or emotional. Tendrils of smoke are also emitted when agitated.
1000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to turn parts of the body into smoke.
3000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to summon smoke.
5000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to turn their full body into smoke.
7000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to control the smoke they have summoned.
10,000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user total control over any and all smoke in the area that they summoned.

Hōga Hōga no Mi - Splice Willow - CapnWillow

Fruit Name: Hōga Hōga no Mi (Sprout Sprout Fruit. Hōga can also mean germination and a flower bud, so it’s particularly appropriate for this fruit)
Fruit Type: Paramecia
Description: The Hōga Hōga fruit allows for control of plant life, dependant on the plant itself and the skill of the user. For example, a small simple plant such as a blade of grass or a mushroom would be easy to manipulate for even a novice, while a redwood or giant carnivorous plants would be much more difficult to control. This control can be manipulative; in that it can physically move the plant (e.g. having a vine wrap around a leg, or a large tree branch smash a foe out of the air), or mutative; in that in can change the physical characteristics of the plant itself. This can mean making it grow larger or shrink, to grow profusely or whither. This control of plant matter is limited to living foliage; however the user can take one plants vitality and transfer it to another, less healthy, specimen. This can only have an effect within reason; for example the decomposed leaf litter found in soil cannot be reconstituted into its component leaves and twigs. However, a well preserved plank of wood in a door can be temporarily manipulated. This can only take place while the fruit user is in physical contact with the plank in question however.

The user can also turn parts of himself into wood for increased hardness and weight during combat. The other key feature of this fruit is the user’s ability to grow and control any plant they have eaten the seed of (consuming a blooming flower also has the same effect as the flower contains the necessary materials to create seeds). For example, if the user consumes an acorn, they can sprout an oak tree from themselves at will. Plants that the user grows himself are much more responsive to his power, so will move faster, grow quicker etc etc. However, once removed from the user they will revert to being normal plants, and as such regain their vulnerabilities. Case in point; a cactus grown in a rainforest would quickly die from overwatering, while a tropical plant grown in a desert would dry up and perish. The user can also ‘grow’ his own species of plants within himself by combining aspects of one or more plant(s) with another. Perhaps a willow tree with rose thorns on the branches, or an apple tree whose fruit tastes like strawberries. Perhaps even some unholy combination of tomato and tobacco...

Approximate Strength (8/10): The fruit itself is quite simple; manipulation and manifestation of plants. However, the huge number of different approaches to any problem this fruit allows gives it the opportunity to be seriously effective in a large range of different situations. This is however dependant on the skill and ingenuity of the user. It is a tool rather than a straight out weapon. It is not massively effective in single combat, and cannot do much more than supplement the users own strength and defence.
It is of course weak against fire, but does not really suffer from any other serious weakness. However, it is not overwhelmingly strong against any one specific opponent either. Apart from the clear weakness against fire and a reasonable resistance to ice, its strengths and weaknesses are balanced. The user can also exhibit lethargy during the night due to the photosynthetic tendencies of plants.

Evolution of Control:

0-999 Fruit Synch: The user is can only control small simple plants, and cannot grow them to a size larger than himself. Has sporadic outburst of uncontrollable growths at random intervals of plants whose seeds he has consumed. Very lethargic during the night.
1000 Fruit Synch: The user can now control plants sprouting from himself, and is no longer lethargic during the night as his body has become accustomed to the fruit. More complex plants can be controlled, and grown to reasonable size. They can only be moved with strength equal to that of a normal human, so a strike with a branch would be weaker than a strike with the users fist.
3000 Fruit Synch: More complex plants can be controlled, and grown to almost any size. However, the larger the plant, the slower it moves and more concentration it takes to move it.
5000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to create own plant hybrids from seeds consumed.
7000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user the ability to transfer vitality from one plant to another
10,000 Fruit Synch: Grants the user total control over any and all plants in close proximity with the user or in physical contact with any plants the user has grown from himself. (So a vine grown from the user touching a tree would allow control of that tree.)
